When shoes meet the art of living

Neither a simple corner nor a display: JONAK’s Room is conceived as a true living space. Here, footwear meets design in an atmosphere that invites you to linger rather than simply pass through. Furniture plays an essential role. Signature seating, vintage pieces and bespoke display plinths give the space its character, creating a natural dialogue between design and the collection. Designed to invite you to slow down, settle in and take your time, this space offers a new way to discover the new-season styles.

A setting inspired by fifty years of design

In the centre of the room, a column inspired by the Memphis movement adds a graphic touch to the décor. Surrounding it, the furniture spans several decades of design. Scandinavian-inspired armchairs from the 1950s sit alongside a table by François Monnet, designed in 1968. A few pieces from the 1970s, such as Dick Cordemeijer’s ‘Cléopâtre’ daybed or the ‘Orgue Cira’ lamp, round off the décor. JONAK thus creates a hybrid setting, at the crossroads of a Haussmann-style department store and a contemporary living room. Wood and aluminium are paired with sky blue and almond green, punctuated by pops of colour.

For its Back to School campaign, JONAK takes a different approach to the new season. Loafers, slingbacks, ballet flats and trainers make up the Autumn-Winter collection. These styles are designed to help you rediscover the joy of getting dressed, without succumbing to the frantic pace of the new school year. The limited-edition sock collection extends this sense of softness with warm, comforting fabrics.

The selection

Back at Les Souliers de la Samaritaine, JONAK returns to a venue that is part of its history. JONAK’s Room comes to life there as a pop-up until 30 September, before transitioning to a permanent corner. A new way to discover the collection’s shoes, slippers and socks in the heart of La Samaritaine.
