TERMS & CONDITIONS
Any order placed via the website and delivered outside France may be subject to possible taxes and customs costs levied when the delivery arrives at its destination. The Customer shall be liable for these customs costs and possible taxes associated with the delivery of an article. Jonak.fr is under no obligation to verify and inform its customers of the customs costs and taxes applicable.
The ordering procedure is as follows :
- Choose articles and add to shopping basket
- Confirm basket contents
- If the Customer is not already logged in: log in to www.jonak.fr
- Select delivery method
- Select payment method and accept T&C
- Confirm payment
The Customer will receive an e-mail confirming the order. During these various steps, customers will be able to view their order and its total cost and correct any errors, before confirming the order, thereby indicating their acceptance. Jonak.fr reserves title to the articles until the order has been paid for in full, i.e. when Jonak.fr has received the payment for the order. Jonak.fr reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there may be a dispute relating to the payment for an earlier order or who appears to present any form of risk. By placing an order the customer acknowledges acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the articles available for sale. Jonak.fr will honour orders received via the website when stock is available. If one or more article(s) ordered are unavailable, Jonak.fr undertakes to inform the customer of this as soon as possible and, where applicable, to reimburse them within a maximum of 30 days from the time the sums were paid. The customer’s order will then be automatically cancelled.

The sums paid by the customer will then be repaid to them in full. Upon receipt of their order, customers must ensure they check that the products received are the products they ordered.
It is imperative that any anomaly concerning the articles (damage, item missing that is stated on the order form, damaged or opened parcel, broken or defective article, etc.) is reported on the day the items arrive or at the latest within 3 days of the products arrival, to the Jonak head office by Registered Letter or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any claim made after this time will be rejected and Jonak will be released from any liability. If the aforementioned conditions are fulfilled, Jonak will then refund the defective product(s) or re-send the missing product (subject to the customer’s claim being justified). All articles offered by Jonak are subject to the statutory guarantee provided for under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. (See paragraph Guarantee)

The payment is validated upon receipt of the additional information requested in the event of payment using a credit / debit card requiring additional verification (See paragraph Combating credit card fraud).

Return and refunds
Returned articles must be new, unused, and in their original box, perfectly intact. Any return must be the subject of a return request via the contact form available on the “Contact and After-sales Service” page. Customers have a period of 15 business days from posting their return parcel to submit any claim relating to their return. No claims will be accepted after this time. The customer must submit their claim by e mail via the contact form on the “Contact us” page on Jonak or by post to the following address :

All returned articles (shoes, original packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) must be sent back in perfect condition. Upon receiving the parcel, Jonak will assess the perfect condition of the returned goods. No returns will be accepted if the returned articles have obviously been used or suffered damage attributable to the customer where such use or damage renders the articles unsellable. If the return is refused by Jonak, the articles will be sent back to the customer at Jonak’s expense, without the customer’s being able to demand compensation of any kind or entitlement to a refund, other than subsequently exercising their guarantee rights for the goods sold.
Subject to compliance with these return conditions, Jonak will reimburse the returned articles within 30 days, after the goods have been returned to stock.

After this period, and if this procedure has not been followed, the articles will be deemed accepted by the customer, being without any visible defect, and Jonak.fr will not be able to validly accept any claim. If the visible defect or non-conformity in the article is confirmed, Jonak.fr undertakes to reimburse the customer as quickly as possible and at its own expense. This reimbursement will be made within a maximum of 30 days. Jonak.fr cannot be held responsible for any improper usage and/or intensive use of the articles by the customer.
These details are collected :
- when a customer creates an account,
- when a customer subscribes to the newsletters or alerts offered by Jonak,
- when a customer places an order or makes a returns request on the website,
- when a customer contacts Jonak Customer Services,
- when a customer takes part in a competition,
- when a customer browses the website and consults articles,
- when a customer posts a comment or opinion about an article,
- when a customer shares an opinion with a friend by sending an e-mail from an article page,
- when a customer shares an opinion via Facebook, Google+, Twitter, or Pinterest from an article page.
The details collected are intended for use by Jonak.fr. They are required for processing and handling orders from the customer, as well as for sales relations between Jonak.fr and the customer. They also enable Jonak.fr to provide personalized services to the customer and to improve the relevance of information offered to them. Jonak.fr is responsible for handling this data. It may be communicated to the companies and sub-contractors Jonak.fr uses in the context of executing the orders and services offered. In accordance with the French Law of 6 January 1978, the user has a right to access, correct, modify, and delete personal data about them. Users may expressly refuse to allow their details to be revealed to any third parties. To do so, they simply have to indicate this by writing to Jonak, Service Client, 13 rue Poissonnière, 75002 Paris, France.
Customer and prospect data is stored for 5 years after the end of the relationship.This period begins: at the time of the last order, the last time the customer connects to its account, when an email is sent to the customer service department, if the link in an email sent by JONAK is clicked on, if items are placed in the basket but a purchase is not made, or finally if the customer sends a positive response to an email requesting whether they wish to continue to receive sales material at the end of the five years or not.
At the end of this period of time, the customer's or prospect's data will be anonymised.
