With the growing number of fraudulent websites impersonating Jonak, here’s how to make sure you’re using an official Jonak channel:

• Search for us on Google: our official website always appears first
• On social media, only click on ads from our verified account
• Create a customer account and check the sender’s email address in the confirmation email you receive
• Check the payment methods available: Apple Pay, PayPal and Alma
• Be wary of offers that seem too good to be true
• Check that the website has Terms and Conditions and a Privacy Policy, and that it is secure

Our quality control team does everything possible to ensure you receive a flawless product. Every new model undergoes a series of in-house tests before it is released, focusing in particular on flexing, abrasion, grip and material durability. However, footwear is an everyday item, and even the most rigorous tests cannot always replicate every real-world condition of use. This is why your feedback regularly helps us identify areas for improvement, whether in the comfort of a sole, the fit of a particular size or the durability of a finish. As soon as an issue is reported, our design and quality teams work with our manufacturing partners to address it, whether by reinforcing a sole, adjusting a waterproofing treatment or reviewing a manufacturing process. This commitment starts with the selection of our manufacturing partners: 86% of our shoes are made in Europe (Portugal, Spain and Italy), 12% in Asia and 2% in North Africa. The country of manufacture for each model is specified in the “Description” tab of its product page, where you can also view its full traceability information.

Since Jonak was founded, social and environmental responsibility has been at the heart of the brand’s approach. We continually refine our practices, keeping a close eye on innovations and new techniques that can help reduce our environmental impact while maintaining high standards of quality and durability. As part of this approach, we have experimented with water-based, solvent-free adhesives, which also offer better prospects for separating and recycling the different components of a shoe. However, as their performance was not sufficiently suited to certain conditions, particularly high temperatures, we chose to return to conventional adhesives to ensure the quality and durability of our products.

At the same time, our teams work every day to improve the components used in our soles and our manufacturing methods. Our products now cater to more active lifestyles and changing patterns of use. We therefore work with our manufacturing partners to adapt their design, strengthen their resistance and extend their durability. This continuous improvement approach allows us to develop our products season after season, with the ambition of balancing quality, durability and a reduced environmental impact. 

Comfort is one of our design criteria, alongside style. Depending on the model, our shoes feature elements designed with everyday comfort in mind, such as cushioned soles, leathers designed to soften over time and breathable linings. The level of comfort can vary depending on the shape of the shoe, including the heel, toe shape and platform.

To help you choose the right size, Jonak provides a “Size Guide”, available just below the size selector on every product page. As these measurements are generally based on an average size 37, we also recommend referring to the information provided on each product page, including the measurements and information about how the style fits, in the “Description” tab.
