Jonak x Anaïs Vindel

To celebrate the arrival of spring, Jonak is teaming up with artist Anaïs Vindel to reinvent its window displays through an exclusive collaboration, available from May 16 to June 15, 2025, in all French stores. A poetic encounter between art and retail.

Driven by inspiration deeply rooted in nature, this project transforms storefronts into true windows onto an imagined world. Anaïs Vindel’s universe—abstract, organic, and radiant—unfolds across the glass, casting its silent poetry. Materials, colors, and transparencies merge in a shifting, almost living composition.

At Jonak, every detail matters. Aesthetics and emotion are inseparable from the experience we offer. It is from this pursuit of inspiration—and a touch of enchantment—that this collaboration was born. The idea? To reinvent the window display not as a mere showcase, but as a work of art in its own right, one that invites wonder, escape, and perhaps even engagement.

Anaïs Vindel is one of those artists whose work is not meant to be told, but felt. Multidisciplinary by nature, she explores themes of travel, landscapes, and the connection to the present moment. She paints the intangible—a beam of light breaking through, a subtle breeze, the warmth of a summer evening. Her inks, both airy and vibrant, come to life through a unique technique she calls la pétale—a play of transparencies and densities, where each shade unfolds like a breath.

In her light-filled studio in Bordeaux, Anaïs creates directly on the floor, letting water and pigment tame one another. There, between reading and contemplation, she shapes her canvases the way one might write a poem. Each piece is the result of a suspended moment, guided by the emotion of the present.

The encounter between Jonak and Anaïs Vindel is rooted in a shared vision: seeing material as a language, and color as emotion. Three original artworks were created to enhance the brand’s window displays. Using a new medium—reflection—as her canvas, the artist transposes the intensity of her paintings onto glass, in a composition that is as tactile as it is luminous.
